Sandy needs little introduction to the mountaineering community on Vancouver Island. His explorations and leadership in the Island backcountry over several decades are legendary – as is his passion for extended trips in the Arctic. The online medium happily means that we are able to connect with Sandy in real time in his home in New Brunswick – albeit late in the evening for him! We are excited to have this opportunity to hear about some of his more recent northern adventures.
