Details: Hike to both peaks of Mt. Prevost just outside Duncan. It will be a moderately paced hike. This trip is not suitable for beginners due to its length and elevation gain. Easy scrambling is required to reach the second summit.
We will meet at the Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan at 10am. Those coming from Victoria can meet to carpool at Helmken at 9am. We will start hiking on drinkwater road.
Equipment: Hiking boots and raingear are required. Please bring a day pack with The Ten Essentials. A headlamp is also a good idea. Please bring a lunch/snack and lots of water as we will stop at the top to eat. This trip will go rain or shine.
