Title: All Dave, All the Time
Thursday May 9 we’ll have reports on two different high country hiking areas in B.C. that we should know about. They give access to beautiful and some seldom visited areas.
Dave Sutill shares his trip on a section of the Great Divide Trail in the southeast of the province. Then there’s a report on an area accessed with the club’s Mosaic gate card: Rees Ridge via Carey Lakes. (Yes, this gate card is great for access to Comox Lake Logging Roads.) Gordon presents this second trip but Dave was part of it also, hence the slideshow title above!
This is a perfect evening for those with short attention spans: Two separate presentations, not one long one. Interesting and informative, with pictures: who could ask for more?
Swan Lake Nature House doors open 7:00 pm for a half hour of socializing & set up before a brief meeting at 7:30 and the slide show. Tea & snacks are by donation.
