The goal of the ACCVI New Immigrant Nature Outing Program is to help introduce new immigrants and refugees to natural places and feel a connection to their new home on beautiful Vancouver Island.

The program plans a simple hike and nature activity once a month for children, youth, families and individuals to explore natural locations around Victoria and the CRD.  Easily accessible locations (by bus or carpool) are chosen such as Willows Beach, Mount Doug, and Beacon Hill Park, etc. Individuals, parents and children would be welcome. Hiking for adults and youth and activities for children will be planned.
