The hut remains closed according to provincial health guidelines and the Nuu-Chah-Nulth Tribal Council’s request to restrict non-essential entry to its lands. Regrettably, this camp is therefore cancelled. Watch this space again for 2021!
Spend 5 nights in comfort at Hišimy̓awiƛ on 5040 Peak, and spend the days exploring the surrounding ridges, peaks and the limestone plateau. The route to the hut is a steep trail with ascent of approx 700 m. Participants need to be able to hike in with their personal gear including light sleeping bag and food for 5 days.
