Description: Double the fun with a traverse of these two summits. Meet at Raven Lodge (Mt Washington) at 9:00 am. We’ll tour across Battleship Lake, up the east ridge of Elma and then up the south ridge of Brooks (clockwise), returning to Raven Lodge.
Requirements: Participants must have AST1, moderate fitness, and should be comfortable going downhill on single black diamond runs inbounds and some off-piste ski/riding skills.
Gear needed: AT or Telemark Skis or Splitboard with skins that fit (can be rented from Ski Tak Hut), Avalanche Gear (3-antenna beacon, shovel and probe, can be rented from ACCVI – ). Ten essentials.
Max participants: 6 participants (must be members of the ACC, preference given to Vancouver Island section members.)
