Pogo and Adder Mountains May 23-24
Two days at Sutton pass to scramble and snow climb Pogo Mountain and Adder Mountain Sunday. People are welcome to just come for Pogo if interested as well.

Details:
Scramble and snow climb up Pogo Mountain (Saturday) and Adder Sunday (as long as the rain doesn’t come to early ). We will plan to car camp in the Sutton pass region Saturday night. Mostly hiking and Scrambling is expected to be mostly 3rd class with possible 4th class depending on the route. Expect snow high on the mountains. Weather looks great for Saturday and rain later on Sunday. Expecting a 6-8 hours trip up Pogo and a shorter day on Adder as long as the snow conditions are not to soft and the road is passable.
Carpool can be organized depending on where everyone is coming from.
Required skills and experience:
Basic Experience with scrambling and snow up to 30-35 degrees
Physical fitness to handle the rigours of mountain travel
Basic Mountaineering kit – Ice Axe, crampons, helmet, boots. lightweight harness Exact specs to be discussed with team members.
Car Camping kit
A favorable forecast and decent weather
Fun attitude. Be Safe. Make Friends. Have Fun.
