I’m taking advantage of some decent weather on Sunday, if the weather holds, to tick another IQ off the list and you’re welcome to join me. I’ll be leaving Victoria on Saturday afternoon, camping at the trailhead, and starting early on Sunday. Friends have described the route as being low fifth class climbing, with ropes optional on the way up and maybe preferable on the way down. Steven Song’s trip report describes them doing the route without ropes. Depending on group comfort level, we could bring either a static rope with a small rack, or attempt the ascent without rope and bring a lighter static line in case we want to rappel.
If you’re interested in joining, please contact me by email (see contact info above) and give me a rough idea of your skill level.
