Time: All Day

Category: Hike

Departing from the Sea to Sea Regional Trail parking lot at 9am (sharp), we hike steadily uphill along Quimper Summit trail to reach the summit which offers stunning views of the Sooke Inlet, Juan de Fuca strait and Olympic Mountains. After a tea stop to check out the hut and test our upper body strength on the chin up bar (optional), we will head back down along the lushly forested Juniper and Kinnikinnick trails until we connect with the trail up Mount Brule. Here we will break for lunch while enjoying more views of the Juan de Fuca Strait, the Sooke Basin, and Sooke Hills. After, we make a steep descent to connect with the Stonecrop trail, then make our way back to the parking lot. Weather and trail conditions on the day might require modifications to the route.
