Details: We will take the 4pm ferry over to Port Angeles on Friday Feb 15th (around $100/person CAD round trip). We will stay in the hostel there ($35/night) both Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. We return on the 2pm ferry on Monday.
We will be taking full-day tours each day starting at the hurricane ridge lodge. This trip will go independent of weather and there may be long days in cold weather. We will not be skiing in a resort – this is an exploratory backcountry skiing trip. Intermediate – advanced backcountry skiing ability required. An additional small fee for national park pass will apply.
Equipment: Avi gear and completion of AST 1 required. Passport and travel medical insurance are necessary.
