Description:

Brush off the probe and shovel, put some fresh batteries in your transceiver, and get ready for some fun rescue scenarios. This practice will be most effective for those that have taken an AST 1 or AST 2 course, but everyone is welcome. We are going to utilize the sandy beach at Cadboro Bay to simulate snow and work on refreshing our search, probing and shovelling skills. We’ll do single and multiple burial scenarios and there will be prizes for the fastest and most effective search and rescuers. We will start in the morning and practice to early or mid afternoon.
