The Sooke Hills is has many gems and fun hills to discover. If you have not been atop Thunderbird it is a fun hike with some wee scrambly bits to make it interesting and some lovely views from the top of both hills. [Rating: B2] We will likely include the East Ramparts as a bonus. The hike should take 6 – 7 hours, including breaks. No dogs please. Come join us to ring out November!
Meeting Place: Harbourview Parking lot at the end of Harbourview Road in Sooke
Meeting Time: 8:45 AM, with a view to leaving at 9 AM
What to bring: The seven essentials including of course enough water and food to keep you going, rain gear and appropriate layers for the day and a hot drink is always a good idea at this time of year.
