Have you ever thought about walking the Camino de Santiago? It’s the 800 km pilgrimage through northern Spain. It takes most people 30-35 days to walk.

On the eve of her 35th birthday, Jes set out on the Camino alone. It was her second time trying to tackle the path, after an injury set her home early in 2015. After five weeks of walking and 500 cafe con leches, she made it to Santiago. She had a lot less tread on her shoes and some seriously achy knees, but she was surrounding by an amazing Camino family.

Come hear about her adventures as a solo traveller — both the ups and the downs. See some of her photos and videos of the amazing Spanish landscapes. Learn more about the ancient pilgrimage. And get some tips for planning your own Camino journey some day!

Venue: 3873 Swan Lake Rd, Victoria, BC V8X 3W1.

Doors open at 7 PM and slideshow starts at 7:30 PM. Tea and goodies by donation.

New members, friends and family are always most welcome! We look forward to seeing you there.
