This is a trip for queer, trans and/or Two-Spirit folks. Queer folks are welcome to invite along a friend, family member or partner.
Let’s go climbing outside at Glenn Lake Crag (Langford). There is lots to climb from 5.6-5.10s
Skills required:
– You must be confident top rope belaying and have done it in the past few months.
– Outdoor climbing newbies are welcome. But if you can’t manage yourself at the crag, you must be patient, flexible and willing to wait around (possibly quite a bit) as things get set up. We are not guides.
Gear required:
Helmet is required (not negotiable) but I have a few to borrow or rent from the ACC.
Harness
Climbing shoes
Food, water, sunscreen
If you are qualified to lead climbing and/or set up top rope, bring the ropes, draws, slings equipment to do that.
Carpooling will happen.
You can come on a few day trips with the ACC for free before joining the club.
