“Lizzie Lake area: a peak into the Stein Valley“
Join Nadja Steiner as she shares some impressions and inspirations from a week hiking in the Coast mountains. At a time when we are interested in staying relatively close for trips, the Lizzie Lake area close to Lillooet Lake offers many options. The well-maintained Lizzie Lake trail leads you out of the bush into the alpine from where you can relax in plentiful tarns, follow the start of the Stein Valley traverse on easy trails and enjoy spectacular views. There are also plenty of more challenging hikes and climbs, with opportunities to climb one, two or three mountains a day. All in an area remarkably free of other humanoids.
