Description: Multi day backpacking traverse hike through the beautiful Auyuittuq National Park that involves glacier fed streams crossings and avoiding the polar bears. We will start our track by a boat ride from Qikiqtarjuaq and continue hiking for 10 days over Akshayuk Pass. At the end of the track, we will take a boat ride to Pangnirtung. 10 days in the park involve 1 or 2 rest/exploring days. We have 13 days in total to account for weather conditions as it is the elements that rule the North. This also means spending some time in rural Inuit communities, having a chance to learn about their culture and way of life. Regardless what is waiting for us, it is going to be an unforgettable experience!
