Description:
As we all creep out of winter hiding (or ski season) It’s important to refresh what to do in the event of a medical emergency in the wilderness. Wether you have a 24, 50, or 90-hour course, It’s important to get some regular practice in and get out there for some scenarios.
Join me for a half day hike in the Todd Inlet backcountry, and be ready to get down and dirty, have fun, and ‘save’ some lives! Bring a backpack with contents appropriate for a multi-day trip (No need for tents though!) and YOUR personalized First Aid Kit, Ideally with all of your expired dressings and bandages. Bring along an old T-shirt or two and practice how to create some of these yourself! This is non-certifiable, just a practice session to remind each-other of some basics and scenarios. Bring clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and/or first-aided in!
