Objective: Squamish smoke bluffs and possibly other crags. Mostly trad and top rope. Some sport climbing in places. Grades start at 5.6. and go to 5.12
Cost: campground: $10-15/night for two nights ($20-30 total). Also ferry cost (to be shared with carpooling)
Meeting location: Mamquam river campground
Meeting time: Friday afternoon/evening
Description: arrive Friday night or afternoon(before campground gates close at 10pm or walk in). Climb Saturday and stay in campground overnight. Climb Sunday until early afternoon then take ferry back. If the weather is bad there are also hiking options available for us.
Skills Needed: top rope or lead belay.
Gear Needed: ropes, climbing shoes, harness, anchor building material, personal safety device, belay device, trad gear (if wanted), tent, sleeping bag, full water containers for camping. Van camping is also available for $5/night.
Max Participants: 15 – must be active club members
