Adventure at its finest: From sea level to alpine with a frequent mix of logging roads, bushwacking, rock climbing, skiing, steep snow/nevee and minimalist bivies – sometimes all in the same day! Join Evan and Stefan who will regale us with their MacKenzie Range climbing traverse and most recently their Bedwell Lake to Bedwell Sound winter ski traverse. Evan and Stefan were one of the ACCVI choices for the 2018 Youth Grant Bursary this year for their ski traverse and as far as anyone knows this was probably the first ski traverse of this route.
Venue: Swan Lake Nature House @ 3873 Swan Lake Road. NOTE NEW TIME: Doors open at 7:30 PM and slideshow starts at 8:00 PM. All are welcome, members and non-members….so bring your friends and family for an exciting evening of Vancouver Island adventure. Goodies and tea by donation.
