Description: Some of the best turns on the Island, if the conditions are right you can ski for over 1000m. This is a strenuous trip and require a solid skiing background. Meet at the trail head parking lot on Friday March 15th, or meet at the trailhead by 8am on Saturday. We will be leaving the trailhead by 8:30am. We will be heading up from the Myra Falls mine via East Tennent Creek up to the NW basin, then meeting up with the normal summer route up the NW ridge. From the summit, if conditions allow, ski descent down one of two central couloirs into NW basin. Ski out to the cars and driving home at the end of the day.
