Details: Come for a weekend of climbing at Crest Creek Crags. We will be meeting in the area on Thursday evening in order to climb on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Climbing will be suitable for people wishing to top rope or lead either sport, mixed, or trad.

We will be camping in an undeveloped spot near Crest Creek Crags (not within Strathcona Park). Will be able to set up tents in close proximity to our vehicles, but there are no facilities at this location, and no access to drinking water.

Note: I will have my dog along on this trip. He’s a large dog but is well-behaved.

Requirements: Ability to belay (on top rope at least), comfort with anchors, and ability to manage yourself safely at the crags.

Required Gear:

– Harness

– Belay/Rappel Device

– Personal safety (sling, PAS, preferably no daisy chains)

– HELMET: everyone will have to wear a helmet while at the crags

– Personal camping equipment
